It is one of the most important and popullar accessory in the whole Plastiform range. Designed with twin blades welded together, it enables semi-flexible or semi-rigid replicas to be cut along their axis without distorting the dimensions and characteristics of the Plastiform.
It is handcrafted by master cutlers in the Thiers region of France, guaranteeing precise cuts on all types of final hardness. The blades are made of 12C27 steel, known for its durability and hardness (57 HRC), with permanent sharpening for exclusive use with plastiform products.
The cutter guide ensures a straight cut during use.
The standard Double Blade Cutter has a 60 mm blade with a gap of 1 mm to 1.3 mm between the blades. However, custom cutters can be made to meet specific needs according the following list of specifications.
